By downloading or using TapRare, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
TapRare is a consumer self-insight app. It presents a 120-question self-scan and produces an on-device Rare Number estimate, Signature Facets, and Signature Strengths for personal reflection. Results may be shared by you as a Signature Card image.
The Rare Number is a model-based estimate displayed as “About 1 in N.” It is informational only.
You must be legally allowed to use the App Store and this app in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with local law.
Subject to these Terms and the App Store terms, FriendlyMiles grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TapRare on devices you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except as allowed by law.
Assessment answers and results remain on your device in version 1.0. You are responsible for device access controls (passcode, Face ID, etc.). Use Settings → Delete All My Data to erase local TapRare data.
TapRare 1.0 does not require an account and does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. App Store acquisition is governed by Apple’s terms.
TapRare, its branding, UI, and software are owned by FriendlyMiles or its licensors. Reference statistics and public-domain item content used in scoring are described in-app under Attributions. FriendlyMiles does not claim ownership of public-domain questionnaire items themselves.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRIENDLYMILES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RESULTS ARE ESTIMATES FOR SELF-REFLECTION ONLY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRIENDLYMILES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TAPRARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SPECIFICALLY FOR TAPRARE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $25.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes for new cloud features (if any) will be reflected before those features ship.
